Conformance target

Our target is full Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA conformance. Every page template is tested before it ships, and we re-test on content updates.

• Axe DevTools and Lighthouse accessibility audits at launch and on every release
• Keyboard-only traversal on every page template before shipping
• Screen-reader smoke test (NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS) on home, gallery, and the forms
• Colour contrast verified against AA ratios (4.5:1 body, 3:1 large text)

What you should expect on every page

• Semantic HTML: one h1 per page, descending heading hierarchy, proper landmark regions
• Skip-to-content link on every page, visible on keyboard focus
• Focus indicators with 3:1 contrast against adjacent colours, visible on every focusable element
• Keyboard operation on every interactive element; no mouse-only controls
• Every image carries an alt attribute (decorative images use empty alt="")
• Every video on the site has captions or on-screen text that conveys the spoken content
• No autoplay with sound; hero loops play muted
• prefers-reduced-motion honoured site-wide — animations degrade to static
• Form fields have visible labels, programmatic error messages, and keyboard submission

Concrete details (the page, what you tried, what your assistive tech reported) help us reproduce the issue faster.
